The iPod Touch For Witnessing And Study
The iPod Touch is a perfect example of modern technology that can be used as a powerful tool for studying or witnessing. Did you know that you can download a fully searchable King James Version Bible to carry with you?

- With the proper player installed you can even listen to live streaming broadcasts from Family Radio.
Download the KJV Bible on your iPod Touch

Turn on your iPod Touch and go to the "home" screen. Ensure that your iPod is plugged in and/or connected to the internet.

Select the App Store icon to access the ITunes Applications Store.

Select the Search Tab to go to the applications search page.

Touch the search window to activate the search box and keypad. Using the keypad provided, enter "kjv bible audiobook" and click the Search button.

Select the KJV Bible Audiobook application. Make sure you DID NOT select the Network Edition. Some of the functionality in the Network Edition is disabled unless the iPod is connected to the internet. However, the Network Edition takes up less space and is recommended if you have an iPhone.

Click on the FREE button to activate the INSTALL button. Then click the INSTALL button to install.

Enter your ITunes Password and click OK.

Installation takes approximately 30 minutes depending on internet connection. So make sure the iPod is fully charged or plugged into your computer.

Another benefit to this application is the ability to search the entire Bible for words or phrases. Unfortunately, once the search is completed, the results can only yield a chapter reference. As such, one would need to have some familiarity with the Bible, especially the KJV version in order for this tool to be of any real help. Figure 13 shows the search results of the phrase "But of that day"
